Eagle Portrait

It's not often that you are able to take an eagle portrait and be above the eagle. This is a shot from Haines last fall where the eagle was on a tree branch below my vantage point with a clean view through the trees to see the eagle. The background is the distant river bank.

Sweet, Keith. You're right about this being a rare opportunity. Usually, if I'm above them they're on the beach, which makes for a relatively poor bg. This is sweet.
