Hot Air Balloon..NOT

I'm so glad, that we visited the San Francisco Bay area over the 4th of July and not this week....No earthquakes for this geologist, thank you very much. I was very content to study them in graduate school and not up close!

We saw the amazing fireworks over SF Bay. This grouping really reminds me of a hot air balloon The glow at the top is the diffusion of color exploding into the fog....very cool!

I just wish I had been closer to the bay (quite a crowd had gathered) to get a reflection in the bay....
