Semipalmated Plover

I drove down to a North Shore beach in Massachusetts after seeing reports of Black Terns but fund none. However, I did see scores of Semipalmated Plovers inside a roped nesting area, and lying prone on the beach I waited for a few to wade out towards a tidal pool-where I captured this image.

Hi Chuck, like the low POV and raised leg. Nice angle and I like the fact there is room for the subject to walk into. Depending on your ethics, I might be tempted to remove the two bits of dark debris towards the rear of the bird, LHS. A little Luminosity adjustment may help the brighter whites on the LHS too? Not sure if there is a little colour noise creeping in on the front whites, an easy fix if it is.

All the best, nice work.

Great angle and walking pose. The bright highlights on the raised foot could be toned down some, but that is minor. A good one, Chuck! :toast:
