Fantastic light. The plant looks like it's glowing from within.

Unique landscape showcasing some beautiful light Joerg. The sunstar works as well. Nice to have you back!

Gorgeous, love the light blue glow. I do see some darkening around the peak though, perhaps a relic of your mask

yeah, that dark halo is a distraction. Fix that and you have a winner, the light is great here! The sunstar is a bit too criso fir my tatse (would prefer more diffuse light) but that's personal taste. Love the light on the fg! :wavey:

This is beautiful, my only thing is that the yellow sun is too bright against the dark blue sky.

Welcome back, Joerg! Lovely light on the plant and on the slope. The dark halo bugs me a bit and the blue at the top is too dark for my taste. You did well given the extreme dynamic range.

The sunstar is great and the highlight in the plant provides a fine balance. Nicely seen.

Great comp, light, and presentation. I just got back from Colombia myself - did not have much time for photography (too many social obligations!)

Dig it. Maybe just a touch too dark in the upper left/mtn but nice dramatic scene. Great stuff.

Great shot Joerg and wonderful light on the plant in the foreground. Other than the dark halo mentioned by others a wonderful image. :toast:

That is one gorgeous scene! Huge DR handled very well, providing lots of drama. the softly spotlit plat in the foreground is so cool. Glad you were able to fix the halo!
Good Pick-- congrats!
