Denali as viewed from Kesugi Ridge in Denali State Park. Kesugi Ridge is a wonderful place to backpack - incredible views of Denali without the crowds (or so I hear - I've not been to the National Park yet). Definitely best viewed large. B&W conversion in Silver Efex Pro 2.

Canon 5d Mk II

What a fantastic image! So much going on from sharp defined foreground to misty background. Great mood and depth and Denali suspended in space. Love it.

Riveting, makes me want to stare for a while.

The jagged peaks are fascinating and rugged. The High One peeking through the cloud really adds to the mystique.

I might be tempted to crop a wee bit from the top.

The B&W conversion adds a real sense of drama, mystery and power to this image. Great image and very well done.

Powerful and dramatic Jon! Great tonality in the B&W conversion. Those clouds really add a sense of movement. Great image! :toast:

This is quite dramatic. I love the B&W treatment. Denali poking through the clouds adds to the sense of scale. Nicely done, Jon!

The drama showing in the BW conversion grabs me nicely, and it would be a nice image even without Denali. Denali peaking through is nice icing.

I really like the comp and black and white treatment. It just feels inconsistent with the dark upper clouds and the very light clouds in the middle. I think balancing the cloud brightness and contrast would make this even more dramatic.
