Peekaboo!

Hi everyone! This is the same cub as the one in my previous post. I took this image before he had climbed the tree. I noticed him standing right behind this tree and was hoping he'd poke his head out so I could get even just one picture! Luckily, he did exactly that! He poked his small head out from behind the tree and looked right at me. Photographed in Waterton as usual ;) . I'm still trying to figure out what that gunk is on his head. His mother and sibling had it on them as well.

I look forward to hearing what you think of this one!

Thanks for lookin' :wavey: !

I really like this peek a boo look. I would crop more of the tree trunk on the right side as well as a little bit off the left side. Perhaps that's honey on his head. Any bee hives in the area?

I wanted a better look at the icky stuff on his head to figure out what is going on! The tree trunks framing the bear work for a peekaboo effect, but I feel they are too heavy in the frame, especially the one on the right which is represents about 50% of the frame as an OOF blob. I think some crop works better if you have the pixels and would try to match the portions of left and right trees evenly and place the cub center.

I like the eye being very sharp and good detail in the bear. I think that Lon made some very good suggestions. I feel the trees take up to much of the image.
