Glorious + Repost

This past Saturday evening, Seattle experienced one of the most dramatic sunsets I've seen in a long time. It was in the news, and on local news websites, with people posting images from everywhere in the area.

I was spending some time with my son when I just happened to look out of my slider. Needless to say, I quickly grabbed my camera. I captured this image, as well as several more over the next half hour up the street from me where I have a good view of Puget Sound. This was too epic not to share. Enjoy!

Pretty sky for sure! I think you could tweak this a bit--there's a hint of detail in the fg that I don't even think is necessary, might work better pure black. And the sky seems a tiny bit too 'tamed', I might go a little brighter overall on the right side of the histogram. Pretty picky details, but I think It might make a difference.

Really sweet sky, Joe. I sorta agree with Stan here. You could really kick this up a notch if you wanted to. Love the sun rays.
