Excellent! We have seen lots of good skimmer images here, but I don't ever recall one with waves in it. That really sets this apart - fine work!

Hi Ray! I really, really like this image. The colours and light are wonderful, and as others have mentioned, the inclusion of the wave makes this very special. While I would normally prefer the bird at a bit more sideways or semi-frontal angle, somehow this image just plain works as presented. Nice one!
