Canon 7D, Tamron 55-200mm lens @ 200mm, 1/800 sec @ f11, - 0.67ev, ISO 800.

My favorite of your skipper/verbena posts, Ian. Excellent detail in the skipper, and nice light and colors. I suppose some might suggest cropping plus cloning to get rid of the partially cut off stem on the right, and I might do that to see if I liked it better, but I like this a lot as is. :toast:

Great look at this skipper on a colorful flower, Ian. I had to go back and compare with the previous post. I like the extra space in this one...feels much freer to me.

Beautiful colors and great background, Ian. I prefer this version. More of the verbena is sharp. Nice capture.
