As this was so small, it was not making the normal raucous noise.
Awful light for this one but I had to give it a go
Taken in Nxai Pan, Botswana.
EOS 1DX
200-400 mm F4 with 1.4 RX at 560 mm
F7.1
ISO 800

I love the position of the forward leg and the little bit of head tilt, Ken. You did an excellent job subduing the harsh light.

Very cute-poor guy is all wet and quite a bit small for his big feet. Very nicely captured and processed Ken.

I've seen some human beings built like that, a true lesson in humility. Light sure didn't do you any favors but it is more than offset by the wonderfulness of the subject and comp. :toast:

Ken,
This is a very cute shot. Do you think it is possible to remove some of the shadow on his face? :toast:

Loved the raised leg and a 9 on the cuteness scale. Good job shooting this backlit subject Ken...I do think you have a bit more room in the shadows to bring our a little more detail without it looking fake, but nice job. :toast:

Oh my goodness! This guy is so cute but his legs are crazy long for his body! It looks like you put the baby's body on its mom's or dad's legs! I like his wet feathers underneath and all the fluffiness up top. It's nice and sharp, too and I like how you got his leg coming forward.
