While on the bluff above the Newport Back Bay waiting for the Super Moon rise, while watching this Orange County Lifeguard boat come up the channel, it suddenly kicked up the speed and turned on the lights and sirens. This shot is of the acceleration. I left the boat centered to show the wake behind. The pink water is the reflection of a brilliant sunset that was behind me.
Nikon D4 Nikkor 600mm ISO640 1/50 f/7.1 White Balance Auto RAW Shot on a tripod with a Wimberley Gimbal. Processed very slightly in Lightroom and PSCC14.
