These 2 fawns presented a challenge with one in bright evening sunlight and the other in part shade and part sunlight.

I do love the fawns this time of year. I think the saturation is a bit high. It is very difficult to capture two subjects in focus that are this far apart. When I am presented with a situation like this, I just try to capture one, knowing that if I try to capture both, they will not both be in focus. Definitely cute though.

The amount of contrast between shadow and bright sunlight makes this into a real problem. I think you have to wait for them to move a bit or isolate. Darned cute subjects, however!

Wow these guys really stand out against the green! The spots on the fawn in the sunlight just glow! We have lots of fawns around our place right now but they are SOOOO hard to get pictures of because they are usually bedded down or you can hardly see them in the tall grass.
