Collision Course

Giant Swallowtails on a 'Collision Course'.
I used Nik Silver to produce a highly contrasted B&W, then distort/pinch in Adobe.
My goal was to stretch out the wings to the rear, accentuating the near collision 'speed' of movement.

Looks like they leaped off of nearby flowers to do a chest bump.
Neat manipulation of your bf image, Howard.

This is pretty cool Howard! I particularly like the end result for the butterfly on the left. As a pair, they stand together, and you have caught the sense of movement. Additionally, that one on the left could also stand on its own

Fine, fine processing, Howard. I think you succeeded in meeting your goal.

The swallowtails leap off the background and I like the feeling of motion.

Best,
Carol
