Excellent detail in the BF. Beautiful colors and bg. Nice POV showing his proboscis going into the flower.

Another fine look at this little skipper. (At least based on the colors, this looks like the same species as your previous posts.) The flowers and your comp. add a lot to this image.

BG, colour and composition are splendid. The skipper to me seems to be missing some detail, however…is it a big crop?
Grt, Ingrid.

I agree with Mark, these flowers and your comp make this great Ian.
Some loss of detail in the LP, I must agree with Ingrid in this case..
Another very nice look at this guy:toast:

Hi Ian :wavey: I like this composition. along with the skipper, beautiful verbena, and fine color and BG. agree with the others about the loss of detail in the L.V.

Skippers are small, fast, and difficult to nail. Nice comp and supporting flowers in this one. There is a little loss of sharpness in the larger view, but the OP looks quite good, Ian.

Hi Ian,

Wonderful details captured in the skipper and verbena flowers. I like the diagonal composition of the flowers connected by the skipper.............Jim

Ian, Lovely take on the Skipper. You were lucky to have it on a nice perch and another bunch at the top to bracket it nicely.
