Good job getting a clear look at this skipper in the midst of a tangled world. The gold/purple color combo works very well and the grasses give a good sense of its surroundings. Given what it's world looks like, I also wonder how it sees a giant photographer making a careful approach.

Ian,
Great look at this Skipper with nice detail and wonderful colors. I like the environment but find the overly bright light green areas in the far BG draw too much attention away from the subject, especially the top center, minor nit on a sweet post.
Great title . . .

Great title that fits very well Ian, I like it.
The lavenders color combined with the greens & browns makes for an attractive albeit busy frame.
Nice & sharp where it must be, great 'habitat' shot!

Nice color combination, Ian, and nice sharp detail in the skipper. I like the supporting flora, especially the grasses. Good comp as well.
