A really long exposure in Connemara using the streaking clouds for effect.This one was shot on my Pentax 67 and Provia film. We will be in Connemara later this year for our week long ireland workshop and tour.

Well taken. The comp is traditional, relying on the sky for effect. I could wish for something stronger to hold the attention. :smile:

Beautiful color Peter. I like this as posted but would also consider a crop from the bottom. Fantastic sky.

Interesting image, Peter. Provia worked well for this. To me, the image is about the sky and mountains on the horizon, so I agree with the suggestion for a crop from the bottom. It's hard to tell in this small image, but are those lights on the coast on the left? If so, you might consider cloning them--they catch my eye.

Sort of feels like northern lights with a blue twist. I very much how the blurring of the water and clouds has created a simplified yet engaging image.

Peter, This is very cool looking and I really like what the long exposure did here.That streaking sky looks fantastic! Works just fine as is for me but I could also see a small crop off the bottom just enough to get it closer to 3rds. I like this very much! :smile:
