I missed the catching but got the drying as this Osprey was in the wind and trying to get firm footing with fish in tow. Hand held from boat, 60% of full frame.

Nice one, Mike. I love the ruffled feathers and the pose. The comp forks well for me and the bit of cloud in the blue sky is a nice plus for the image.

Good one, Mike. The bird and the fish just shine! My preference would be to cut back to a 4:5 crop. There needs to be more support than a wispy cloud for this large a frame.

I like the content and am totally fine with the crop on this one Mike. My only wish was a large version. My eyes just aren't as good as they used to be, so it helps to see the details better. As far as I can tell, it looks sharp and techs look great.

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to comment on this image,
Kurt,
I provided a link to the Master Version (a 60 MB Tiff image) that this 300 KB version was down sized from for your viewing pleasure. Once you open the link you have a 'Large Version' and if you click on that image, you have even a Larger 'Large Version'.

Love the ruffled feather MIke. That poor fish looks like its seen better days. The blue sky background is actually very nice. Not a fan of sky backdrops at all but this one has some character. The top of the head looks a bit hot as does the shoulder but other than that this is a cool image Mike. Way to go!! :toast:
