Going back to some of the images from the film days taken in 2001 in Zion on a hike with another photographer and his 8 year old son. As I recall some parts of the hike were a little strenuous, but most was pretty easy. This frame was taken in an area at the point where there was no more trail, about the limit for our young companion.

My trusty 1974 vintage OM-1, Zuiko 28 F2, Manfrotto tripod, probably ISO 100 Fuji Reala neg film, Nikon 4000 dpi scanner

Nice textures and comp Bill. The greens look a little to bright (just a touch) on my Macbook but otherwise no suggestions. I like the image as posted.

Makes me miss film once again. The greens could be a touch darker.

Bill, I like it. I thought the tree limbs poking in on the side might be an issue, but to the contrary it works very nicely as a somewhat different thought on this scene overall. A very nice film shot.......

This is very nice, Bill. I like your comp with the tree branches included and the light and textures in the rock look great to me.

Very nice, Bill. I sure like all the textures in the rocks and how they angle across the frame. The greens do look a bit over saturated.

Nice color contrast between the greens and reds. I like the textures. The greens may be a bit over-saturated. You got a nice scan from color neg film--it can be difficult. Nice job!
