Chobe Crocscape

On the photographic safari I hosted to the Chobe river in Botswana in March of this year, we were able to glide our photographic boat in close to a young Nile Crocodile that was basking in the late morning sun. Some interesting cloud cover and soft light made it an easy choice to go for wide-angle scapes of this critter in his environment.

Nikkor 24-70mm f2.8 @ 24mm

You did make a great choice Morkel, I sure like the photo. The clouds are quite spectacular, befitting such a noble predator.

This is one that I bet would look better and better the larger you make it. Good capture.

Love this as presented, but a pano crop version might also be interesting. Thanks for posting, Dave
