At Rocky Neck SP last Oct. I was mesmerized by the constant ebb and flow of water over the shallow sea bottom here. Tried different shutter speeds and the slower ones were too blurry so settled on this one. Nex 6, Sony telephoto zoom at 75mm equiv, HH, ISO 100, f/9.0, 1/50, Aperture priority, AWB; adjusted contrast and auto-sharpened in PSE. Comments and suggestions always welcome and thanks for viewing.

Looking at this image Jim, there's so much to take in and keep the viewers interest. I can almost feel the ebb and flow of the water, so nicely captured

Jim: What is really cool about these kind of shots is that they can never be duplicated. Good vision, good photography. >=))>

My kind of water abstract, Jim. I like the grid of large roils surrounded by fine details and you've got some good colors. My experience is also that in a shot like this shutter speed makes all the difference plus it depends on how fast the water is moving. I think that pulling some additional contrast out of the bright area, top left, would add to the attractiveness of this already fine image.

Hey Jim,
This is cool, refreshing and indeed mesmerizing.
Take it from a guy who is on the water a lot, you have a well captured image here and a great post for this WC.
 Man !
