Compositions like this in southern Utah are practically limitless. Another one from last May along UT24 in Capitol Reef. Cropped full frame from bottom, larger image included.

Very nice Bill. I like the impression that the diagonals are overlaying the horizontal bands - conveys a sense of energy to me. Well seen and presented. No suggestions.

Some really neat patterns here Bill with the intersecting horizontal, vertical, and diagonal lines. Color has that natural CRNP look too.

Nice abstract. Love the lines and the patterns. Well seen and composed. Just an idea, how about some more contrast and working on the details a little bit more?

I like the strong angled lines of crossbedding below capped by the nearly horizontal top layer. The color change from bottom to top is also very interesting. I agree with Roland that it might be interesting to bump the contrast and see what happens.

I like it as an abstract, I might take off the top for a strictly diagonal pattern.
