This sign reads 'Danger - Shoal' and is located in the St Johns River, Florida dangerously close to the main shipping channel.
I have discussed the pros and cons of the protection of Osprey nest before and agree with the State and Federal mandates protecting them. See my 'Man Made Structures' post here for more info.
In this case however, if adjusting or removal of this nest is not an option, then additional signage marking this shoal is obviously needed for the safety of unsuspecting boaters.

Interesting choice of a nesting site Mike. Truly presents a hazard to the local boating traffic too. It is fantastic that the osprey seem to be doing very well in your area.

Glad to hear they can't remove it from the sign, at least until it's done nesting.

Surprised they let the Osprey build the nest. usually they will stop them early, so they have a chance to find a new location.

Additionally signage seems like a no-brainer to me. Beautiful nest and I like how you depicted this.
