Salt flats, Death Valley.

Does the sky hold enough attention for the 50-50 split?

Raw file processed in LR5, with TK resize/sharpening for web. Canon T3i, 1/40 s, f/8, ISO 200, EF 24-105 mm @ 105 mm, CPL

Seeking any and all advice and comments. Thanks in advance.

It does for me Ronald. Love the complementary textures and colors between the sky and ground in this. I think this one is my favorite of your series so far. No suggestions.

Works for me, Ron. I really like the goldish tones in the salt flats against the blue sky. Certainly a different look to DV.

Nice image. I like the wide view, but I would prefer to crop the upper part of the sky. Would make the image more panoramic and more interesting IMO. In the current image my eyes are constantly moving between the salt flat and the sky.

50/50 works fine for me, Ronald. IMO the horizontal "rule of thirds" makes up for it.
