Hard to imagine this is the same girl from my previous post in this gallery http://www.naturephotographers.net/imagecritique/ic.cgi?a=vp&pr=218357&CGISESSID=69f3d06870a6906b865dd43da4b6c048&u=21927.

I took this and a few more last photos of her and her family on Monday night. They headed off yesterday for a new life on the other side of the Canada :(.

I liked the soft look of this image, thought it gave it an old timey feel. Meagan is a natural model, she instinctively knows how to pose and makes my job easy. Thanks for looking, comments appreciated.

Lovely natural smile Carey, I like the B&W too. The only suggestion I have is to maybe sharpen the eyes up a little.

Cheers, Gary.

What a great pose, and especially the smile, of this little beauty, and nicely framed. Maybe a touch soft for my tastes, but the model is perfection.

I love both shots of this lovely girl. Your processing helps bring them alive. I also agree that sharpening the eyes in this image would be beneficial (if it's at all possible).

I like this a lot, and she's adorable. The slight softness of her eyes doesn't bother me.

Great Photo! I play around with Gaussian Blur in photoshop to create 1930-40's style portraits. More light in the face can be achieved in your B&W software by upping the red tones and increase highlights with yellow toning increases. A slight increase in both would make her face pop from the blurred background. Still, its nice just the way it is as well.
