Roadside Adaptation

I was in Kananaskis today and saw another female grizzly with a single young-of-year cub. That makes three YOY cubs in that area - WOW. Great for the future! This pair were off the side of Highway 40 by the Little Highwood Pass trailhead.

Unfortunately, my favorite photo of her and the young one happened to be right as they were stepping onto the gravel beside the road (I was safely in my car!). So, I decided to change the foreground using the Flaming Pear flood plug-in that Marc had shown a couple of months back. I think it makes the overall image more appealing.

The dandelions and pine-cone were there and captured in-camera.

1/800sec @ f/5.0, ISO 800, 70-300mm lens at 214mm. Image was processed in CS6 and NIK filters were also used.

This plug-in does an excellent job on the right hands Karen, excellent work.
Only the trained eye 'might' notice the FG change/difference..
Very nice, just what this needed to take it over the top :toast: :toast:

Karen, I would not have guessed this was the Flood filter. Nice processing.

Best,
Carol
