I'll give everyone a break from tulips. Here's an image of pink dogwood blossoms shot mid-May. D600, 150 macro, iso 200, f3.5, 1/800. Let me know what you think of this one. All comments, questions, suggestions welcome.

Well taken. Focus with good DOF is in front, where it should be. The OOF flowers in the BG add context, dimension and an echo of the front. It has a nice flow to it and quiet colors that I really like.

Scott - Looks lovely to me. For some reason I like these pink dogwoods than the pure white ones. The Main in focus branches are rendered in a nice way without the background confusing the viewer.

Fine job getting those front two branches in focus against a background that shows lots of nicely soft blooms. Sure wish my dogwood was that robust.

Very pleasing and easy on the eyes Scott. Good dof to manage the branches at the back while showing the blossoms. Nicely done.

Very delicate, elegant, dreamy composition with these beautiful flowers that we don't have here, pity. I love it.
Take care.
