Tree kangaroo

Challenging situation. The tree kangaroo was sitting on branches at the front of the exhibit, with the sun coming behind him. This enclosure was covered with 1 inch square wire, which is difficult to keep out of the photo when the subject is too close to the wire.

Most tree kangaroos are found on the island of New Guinea, where they have adapted to life in the trees.

This is an interesting critter. I might have tried to also get a shot or two of it in its element, to show it lives in trees. Might not have been possible though.
