A recent evening at Nickerson Beach, Long Island, New York. Oystercatcher chicks (one already banded) leave the restricted area of the dunes and follow their parents down to the shore line. Nikon D800, 500mm f4, ISO 500, f10, Shutter 1/640. Thanks for looking , Ray
