Took a drive through delta country this weekend and ended up in Clarksdale for some great bbq & blues. There were some nice clouds behind the water tower late in the afternoon.

Man, I strive for this kind of tonality in b&w. I love the smoothness of the tower, especially contrasted with the rich texture in the clouds.

David, even though I'm a Mississippi native, I've never been to Clarksdale - should go some time. Loads of history in this area. The wonderful sky really sets this apart.
