One from a few winters ago, Ridley scott was up there the day before with his crew filming Prometheus, sadly no aliens when I was there :p

Really struggled with this one - was fogged out all morning and was about to give up, when it cleared instantly and looked ideal, however I spent most of the time trying to unfog my lens and get a composition of somesort before the sun got too bright,

Excellent capture. That one dark rock pinnacle is a bit lost in the clouds though.

Cheers Ian - I send all my transparencies off to guy named Ian Scovell on the Isle of Wight - he scans them on a Hasselblad flextight scanner and I get 500MB 16bit Tiffs back, then I process them as I would a regular .Tiff in photoshop,

Very nice, Tim. You were able to realize nice detail, and the high quality scan certainly made a difference. You did a great job with the processing, and I like the composition, as well.

Beautiful with plenty of drama. Great job managing the exposure latitude and color. :toast:

Beautiful image and scene Tim. As a personal preference I might brighten the upper right corner a bit but the image is certainly beautiful as posted.
