We were very careful to dispose of our trash properly, but didn't count on monkeys squeezing through a slightly-open window to get to an ice cream container in the truck.
There is trash everywhere in Africa. People driving down the road just throw large bags of trash out the windows, and they seem to rarely use trash cans at the campgrounds, even when supplied. Very disheartening, in such a beautiful area.
