A Bunch of pin tail ducks ( I guess ) on morning light with reflections from construction sites.

Left top is a dry branch peeping into the frame, thought I will include it in the frame.

Many Thanks NPN for your support

Hi Balan. I REALLY love the water in this. For me, though, the birds are a bit too small in frame for this to work, and the whites on them are a bit hot. I would love to see you go back there and see if you can't get one to swim in a little closer....that water pattern is certainly worth it. Hope you got some cool abstracts out of it, too! Sharon

Hi Balan. In addition to what Sharon pointed out, to my eye the out of focus branches are distracting. I found myself wandering over there and trying to figure out what it was. Regards... Bill

For me this is not about the ducks or the branch. It is artistic expression that gives me a strong visceral reaction. I hope our desire for technical perfection does not distract us from the beauty a pict like this demonstrates. :toast:

Good eye seeing those wonderful vertical columns reflected in the water. The ducks are too small to add much and the OOF branch is a bummer. Well seen and exposed.

Balan,
Love the title. The vertical columns are terrific in every way, particularly when you have the horizontal ripples going through them.....BUT, for me the ducks are just a little too small. It's very close to working for me but just doesn't quite do it. This would be a terrific image without the branch or the birds, or, like Sharron mentioned, try to get the ducks closer in the setting. Also, it looks like the ducks are very contrasty...some blown whites and some very dark blacks in what appears to be tough lighting. I love what you were trying to do and I love that you actually saw this and stopped to take an image of it. You could easily get some very cool abstracts from this setting. :)
