Recently, I was searching for pictures of Hog Deer and came across this frame. Very shy creatures, who normally hide in the herd of Spotted Deers....may be due to their fading spots.

Maybe they are so shy because the chital looks so pretty with their spots and white markings. Nice action shot of this hog deer. Maybe they want a better name! Looks a bit tight in the frame, would like to see just a little more on the bottom if possible. Thanks for sharing, I think this is the first hog deer I have seen in the gallery.

Neat deer, well captured and processed. I enjoy seeing creatures that are less than familiar. The rim lighting is nicely managed and the only nits are tiny and probably subjective. I find the dark spot in front of the extended front leg slightly distracting and ideally with this cool posture I would wish to see all four hooves!

I like the action, also wish the other hoof was visible, but not much can be done about that. If mine, I would be tempted to lighten the shadows a touch more.
