Lady Falls

I had to sit for a long while perched on this cliff waiting for the sun to get into this deep canyon. This is only the top half of this fairly large falls near Strathcona Park. I hope to someday get back and figure out how to wade the mile upstream to get to the base of this falls. The trees in the back round are mature Douglas Firs to give some perspective.

Absolutely gorgeous as posted Bill. An alternative might be to put more emphasis on the falls by cropping down some but an alternative, not an improvement. I like this a lot.

Top half or not this is a beautiful image. The smoothness of the water really emphasizes the shape of the falls.

Beautiful scene, Bill! Well worth the wait based on this view. All of the subtle greens make a great color and texture contrast to the fall.

A terrific looking waterfall, silky and perfect SS.
The subtle yellows at the top set it off nicely.
Makes me want to go there......

What a gorgeous waterfall scene, Bill. This POV has everything going for it. The light, color, water flow, all look spot on to me. You could always entertain a slight crop from the top, but this view provides a nice understanding of the upper level gorge where the falls are actually being supplied from. Very nice indeed....

btw: good luck finding the route you mentioned to the waterfall base too..... :wavey:

Bill, the color and tones look near perfect to me. I'd like to see the base of the falls, but this is wonderful as presented.
