White wing

The sparrow with the white wing and tail feathers still hangs around our home. To date have not seen it fly more than a few feet high, but is managing longer flights. Finally got a chance to photograph it without man made objects in the photo. The shadows on the lilac bush made getting a good photo a challenge. In some ways its odd coloring made it difficult to see, but the white tail feathers made it easier to find.

Hi John. Although a challenging setting, I like the idea of showing the sparrow amidst the escape vegetation, so many birds do tend to hang out in the dense foliage for a good part of the time. I do have a couple of suggestions, the first would be to back off the zoom just a little to give a bit more room all around. The other point is that it appears to me that the sharpest part of the photo are the tail feathers, would prefer that focus on the head.
