Fabulous! Reminds me of Morkel's BBC award winning image!

Nice silhouette look with a beautiful sky. The rays of light make this image pop.

I agree with the others about the rays of light Mario. I like the way you've managed to make the sky such a large part of the image real-estate, yet the silhouettes become such a large part of the overall story! :toast:

Hi Mario,

Very nice - I quite like the low, low placement of the subjects in the frame and the sky has obvious appeal. My one (and very, very minor) nit is that I don't see value in keeping the brownish colour in the grassy foreground - thinking this would be even a little stronger if you reduced the exposure of this enough to make it appear uniformly black (wouldn't take much). But clearly a strong image exactly as posted.

Thanks for sharing this one...cheers...

Brad

Thanks to everyone for all the valuable feedback … I really appreciate it

Brad : believe it or not I was inclined to do just that but then thought that leaving a bit of detail would benefit the image. I will give it a try and repost

Great sky, perfect silhouettes, and gives a good feel of the vastness and solitude in the Masai Mara.
Congrats on the WP!
