A long exposure for sunset in Connemara. Part of my Irish photographer of the Year 2014 winning portfolio. I just love the stillness and space in this image.

This is beyond moody--I find it very compelling and dreamy. I'm not usually a fan of overall blue images, but this one really works.

I like the moodiness of the blue hue. Feels a bit dark, though. Does it need to be this dark?

Peter,
I love the mood but I guess I'm with Tony. I want to be able to see more of the scene. Although as an abstract...
Very interesting image.

I enjoy the darkness. I'd love to see a large metallic print of this in a dark room. Well done.

lovely colour - wouldn't mind seeing a touch more luminosity - just a touch, though.

This works very well, Peter. The darkness and the blues create a very strong mood with the mountains, their reflections, and the grasses in the water adding just enough detail to keep it interesting. I too wonder about brightening it just a touch.

Beautiful blue tones and a very nice composition Peter. I too would like just a touch more luminosity but that's just
me. Wonderful mood also. Great job.

Love the deep, dark blues and the hints of detail. Has a definite mysterious feel, in some ways harkening back to centuries ago.
