This is an older image that I resurrected from my archive and posted in the Landscape Gallery a while back. I have worked several versions over the years and was never quite satisfied. So, armed with a fresh scan, a modified workflow and TK's luminosity and saturation masks, along with a slight 'glow' layer, I believe I have succeeded in my mission.
The shot was made somewhere on Bishop Creek in the Sierra, ca. 2003, on 6x4.5cm Astia film with my Mamiya 645E and 80mm Mamiya lens. It has been cropped a bit from the bottom and left side.
Please see the larger version. Thanks.
Your thoughts and comments are always appreciated.

8 commentsI like this exceptional vibrant mix of colors, with the wall to wall rain soaked leaves.
Nice
Also thanks for your comments on my landscape posting. I did a repost using your suggestions which I like much better.
When I looked at the index image, I thought I was looking at marbles. What a surprise to find leaves when I opened it up. You captured a wonderful palette in the leaves.
This is one of the most perfect leaf beds I can remember and the droplets have such a commanding presence in the image,
Outstanding choice and well presented for this WC . . .
Question: Overall all, from my monitor, is the image slightly not sharp or out-of-focus?
