This One-horned Rhino is checking us out. They have no fear of the jeeps with tourists. I love the way the skin folds in thick layers. Kaziranga NP, Assam, India

D7100, Sigma70-200@200mm, 1/80, F5, cropped to 50% and to vertical. :wavey:

Hi Ellen,

I like the folds in the skin as well, but for me the bird(s) help make the shot stand out. One minor subjective thing - I think my preference would be to have a little more foreground (and less background) in this shot - feels a bit like the rhino is about to leave the frame and sort of "front heavy". But that's a "each to their own" kind of thing...

Cheers...

Hello Ellen

Great to see this Guy so clear. Would have preferred a slight head turn to see the horn etc.

Very Interesting Capture... Thanks

Yeah, I can vouch for your statement about these guys having no fear of vehicles. Every jeep carries a guard with a rifle!

Excellent shot Ellen, I could see a little more fg and less bg. Brings back memories of my trip there many years ago. :toast:
