Some dodging here for the sole purpose of stretching the tonal range might be in order. Or waking it up a little with a Tony Kuyper luminosity mask. A good comp regardless

This is very nice Rick,
The B&W conversion is inspired and really adds an 'Old West' feel to this image. The detail throughout is amazing and can really be appreciated in the larger version. Nice to have friends with a ranch.
Well captured and presented . . .

Rick, I like this alot. I am usually not a big fan of sun stars, having said that, the horses and aspens really work well together. Beautiful B/W image. Nice

Thanks for comments. I do shoot for myself and and not to please other photographers and do appreciate comments. After 43 years of professional photography I have developed a thicker skin. After posting on my facebook page I sold three prints yesterday. Keep on shooting

This is a wonderful shot, Rick! I love the mood with the b&w and the large version is very cool indeed.

I liked this on FB, I like it here as well
I would say that the sun star's brighter on FB, and I liked it best that way Rick.

This is neatly composed, Rick. The sun burst looks amazing and so do the grazing horses in the frame.
The image is a bit dark for my tastes though.
