Found these two Cotton Rats wrestling over a meal. I managed to capture this one right as he/she was getting ready to jump the other.

Nice capture. Very unusual. I like it even though it is a RAT!

Talk about timing the shot right. The only thing to complain about is wanting more DOF in front of the creatures

The low POV, the action, the fact that both rats are in sharp focus, the bg.....you nailed this one, Kurt!

This is super, IMO, given the low perspective, great isolation from background, yet good depth on subjects and action timing.

I love this image, Kurt! What a fantastic action shot this is! It looks like the right one is balancing on its tail. Perfect!

Kurt, that's some fantastic Rodent action. You know it's a fine capture when your drawn into the animals world, even if it's Rat world....well done!

Hi Kurt,

Nicely done. A first for a rat standing on its tail

This has to be as good a "rodent" shot as I've ever seen, Kurt! Killer angle and action, with good light and timing to boot.

Super timing, POV, detail in the critters and clean bg. Not often seen in photographs, I cringe a little only because they are rats... Congrats on the Pick!
