Taken last week at the Weyerhauser lupine fields last week. I'm at least happy that I didn't have a blank sky!

I like this as posted Joe but might be inclined the crop down from the top to 4:5 or so and eliminate the sky and clouds. I admit to being a flora shooter though. (smile) Beautiful as posted.

Love the variety of colors in the foreground but I'm not a big fan of the sky though it has some nice clouds. Sky looks kind of muted colorwise.

Nice view of the lupines, Joe. I might consider a slight crop off of the top

The lupines are beautiful, Joe. The sky has some nice clouds but it appears very grey (muted). Wish I could suggest a fix. I think if it were mine, I'd crop it out. The flowers could certainly stand on their own.

Really nice colors in the lupins and fore ground Joe. I agree about a crop from the top or trying to add some contrast to it. Very nice scene though.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I
I too didn't much like the middle gray area, but I wanted to keep the comp balanced. Here are the crops as suggested. This first one is a crop from the top.

Here's one with the sky completely gone. Not sure if I like the almost square crop or not.

And here's a version with the full sky, with the middle gray area lightened a bit and with more contrast.

Hi Joe, This is very nice and I love the colors. The crop version with no sky at all works great for me. Beautiful...
