Another Hook image. I could spend all day looking for these birds, ....so much fun!

50D, 700mm, ISO 200, F9, 1/160 LARGER version also posted. Thanks for your comments/critiques...I hope I'm learning from them all! Sharon

Thanks Howard...it's a Common Yellowthroat - a Warbler. Perky, inquisitive little guys...they warm my heart! Sharon

There are stories about how a non-birder, seeing a Common Yellowthroat through binoculars for the first time, was instantly turned into a birder. Your image shows why. Well done.

Lovely shot. What is the yellow beneath his beak?

Sharon
It looks like your day was rewarded. Great color and detail. Question who make a 700mm lens?

Patrick...I think it's a stem going across there. I didn't do any cloning or anything like that to the image. Peter...I've been getting lazy...instead of typing 500mm with a 1.4 extender, I just stated it was taken at 700mm....the focal length I get with that combo. Thanks for your comments!
