Springtime is such a perfect time to "play" with the macro lens! Here is a grouping of three that I found pleasing.

Fuji Finepix, 40mm macro, handheld
I played with soooo many settings, I'm not sure which this one is but I tried to use 8, 9.5 or 11.

Amazing how the centers of your three main blooms are so sharp. Some may object about the soft look you achieved but I like it . Wonderful colors.

Beautiful color palette and strong composition for my tastes Christine. Perfect dof control to get the centers sharp. I guess I might prefer more color separation from the bg but the centers hold my interest enough that, that may just be conventional expectation on my part. Very fine image.

Nice work lining up the plane of focus Christine. The color is nice and I like the pano crop. I think I would clone out the little light line in the bottom center.

Chirstine - Looks great to me. Good idea for a pano crop and the blooms have the right sharpness (or softness) to hold the appeal

Fantastic composition and painterly feel to this Chris. To me the BG adds a bunch to this.

Yes, I would like to see more sharpness, but your framing, colors, and comp. choices are great. With as much magnification as you're showing here, I don't think that f/8 vs f/11 would make much difference.

Very nice flower arrangement in excellent light and nice colors. Well done Chris.
p.s. May be I'd remove the part of the flower at the bottom and bottom left corner.

A neat grouping, Chris. An excellent job getting all three blossoms in what appears to be exactly the same focal plane. The dof you chose works for me.
