May 4, 2014 While at Torrey Pines State Park near Del Mar, California, with two NPN members, I was attempting to photograph Falcons, this Sikh man, his son and granddaughter walked down to where we were shooting. Through translation by his son he allowed me to take his photo. I grabbed my D800 from my back pack and this is the result. I wish I had his email so I could send him a copy.

Nikon D800 Nikkor 24-120mm lens 86mm ISO500 White Balance Sunny 1/1000 f/8 Processed in Lightroom, PSCC, Nik and TK. Tiny crop off the top of the full frame.

Cool shot of the Sikh man (saint soldier).
I think the light/shadow worked in your favor for this portrait, and the light always conquers the darkness.
