Wild Cherry blossoms

While walking along our creek, I spotted this wild Cherry tree in bloom. To get this shot, I pulled down a branch, held it in place with a plamp on a separate tripod, and utilized the sunlit grass and ferns for the background.

Canon 60D. 180mm macro lens. F/5.6 at 1/200 sec. ISO 160. Several filters applied in processing.

(I had just posted a similar image but deleted it and replaced it with this one which I liked better. )

Wonderful treatment Carolyn. The BG is gorgeous, and I love the colors. The vignetting and filters add to the allure of the photo. Excellent!

Wonderful clean background and I like that you only see on branch coming into the frame to show the cherry blossoms, well done.

Love the colors and comp, the very spring-like feel to it, the glow, and the edges! Wonderful image.

All of the wild cherry trees around here need a helicopter to photographer their blooms. This looks great with the bright oof background. Part of the softness feels like a vignette filter that I'm not sure about. The glow works nicely.
