Golden Eye

I captured this Snowy Egret at the Dallas Rookery. I think the Snowy Egret's eyes are very unusual. They look like a golden marble with a portion scooped out and colored black. They have a three dimensional look to them.

Processed using Photoshop CS3, NeatImage and LightZone. Comments and critiques welcome.

nice to see this behavior. Crop is a bit tight and angle is a little steep but there are lots of detail and a good exposure

Great closeup portrait with sharp details, nice to see this behavior as Luke says.
I might consider < the sat a bit to improve it.
Well done Jerry :toast:

Really nice detail, the eye is great. Agree with dropping the saturation of the blue a bit.
