The Phalaenopsis is the simplest and more beautiful member of the large orchid family.
I am glad to be back. We had welth problems in family and I have been out for about a month. The only good thing I did was to buy the Nickon D800E. Here is one of the first photos that I took.

D800E, Nikkor 200mm - f/5,5 and ISO 100.

I am always very glad for your opinions and advices. Thanks.

An interesting minimalist abstract. Just enough definition to recognize it, with pleasing splashes of color.

A wonderful abstract Gigi! The color makes the lines of the orchid bloom stand out very nicely. A wonderful, light image.

Love this. The colors really make the undulating line of the petal edge stand out. Hope your problems are behind you and all is well. :toast: :toast:

A very interesting perspective and excellent orchid abstract. I like the composition with the sharpness and splash of color in the center background, well done.

Gigi:

Glad to have you back and this is a great comeback image. Fabulously engaging image with just enough to keep the eyes interested in following the lines of the whisker and splash of color in the bg.

Would suggest just cropping a smidgen at the bottom edge to remove the black line along the LLC.
