I thought the colors were pretty unique, so I got up close and personal.
D7000, F22, 8 sec, ISO 100, tripod, shutter release. Taken inside, with a black light block. I appreciate all comments and suggestions. Thanks.

The shadows and highlights of folds and layers is super! Texture and color is pleasing…with the top half more vivid and saturated than the bottom…but maybe too dark and muted .. The larger version is a trifle soft altho that could be only due to tulip petal’s texture quality which has that metalic sheen. Lovely perspective!

Love the softness of this, Bob, and the slightly muted colour range. Beautifully composed to get those overlapping petals which give a sense of depth that I like especially here.

A very nice abstract Robert. Very nice lines and interesting colors. I could take a tad more sharpness. Have you applied any USM to this?
