I liked the light and forms in this underpass but the scene wasn't complete so in an attempt to emulate Bresson, I just waited for something to happen.

This scene works very nicely, Carey. I also think the B&W works well for this particular metro area look and feel. The addition of the lone jogger helps break up the overall starkness of all the concrete and steel providing just a hint of life in the city.

Wow! The tones and sense of strong architectural mass & design style…w/o distorting the corners … is superb. The runner coming from the llc (rule of thirds) add much… well done!

Nice composition, Carey. It's great that you managed to get some nice directional light on the runner.

Nice tones and shapes. I like how her foot is raised which makes the image more dynamic.

Really like this - and the B&W treatment works perfectly.

Yes, light and forms...you nailed it. Very nicely seen and processed. The runner makes the photo, with the right color dress and right actions to liven up the more geometric lines. Wonderful!

Excellent composition and use of light. Often, we find something interesting but as we look at it we realize it's a great background but has no real subject. By waiting for the hurrying woman you completed the scene.
